Free transportation in Leavenworth, live music, German food, arts and crafts, and activities for the whole family! Oktoberfest in Leavenworth is the next best thing to being in Munich! This year there are four venues with live entertainment and Free Shuttles in Leavenworth. What ever you do, don’t miss the Keg Tapping Ceremony at 1:00pm every Saturday when Leavenworth’s Mayor will honor a Bavarian Tradition of “tapping the keg”. Then plan on hanging around and checking out music from Musikkapelle Leavenworth who will be joined by other musical groups from the US and Germany. Tickets and details available online.

The Everett Sausage Festival is a family-oriented weekend fair centered around a Bavarian theme. From the traditional Bavarian Dinner to a variety of food booths, children’s games, the Family Entertainment Stage, bingo, carnival, rides and Bavarian Beer Garden and Stage, there is something for everyone. Everett Sausage Fest was founded to support Catholic Education at Immaculate Conception/Our Lady of Perpetual Help School and is now in it’s 36th year.

The 8th Annual Oktoberfest Northwest will serve up beer, brats, and authentic entertainment, plus the first ever Oktoberfest Northwest 5k Stein Dash on Sunday, October 7! Oktoberfest Northwest is an all-ages event until 7:00pm each evening (and all day Sunday!). After 7:00pm on Friday and Saturday, guests must be 21 years of age or older. Opens at 11:00am all three days, and closes at midnight Friday and Saturday and 6:00pm on Sunday. Manuela Horn’s Oktoberfest Revue returns to Oktoberfest Northwest as the Friday and Saturday nighttime headliner! If you haven’t seen this tall glass o’ talent yodel, sing, dance and perform, make sure you come on down on Friday and Saturday night.

It’s the third annual beer festival, Anacortes’ Oktoberfest! “Bier on the Pier”promises to be a highlight for beer lovers. Featuring live music and a variety of Barvarian and German inspired fare, 30 Breweries in two days and festival style seating. Plus a keepsake tasting glass. Friday, October 5 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm and Saturday, October 6 from 12:00pm – 6:00pm.

Whidbey Island’s 5th Annual Oktoberfest Celebration includes authentic German-style brews, beer games, brats and the Bavarian Village Players. Kölsch-style Vienna Ale by Diamond Knot Brewing in Mukilteo, goofy obstacle-course type games, prizes, and the first ever “So You Think You Can Yodel?” contest.
