Attention chocolate lovers! This weekend at the Washington State Convention Center, you’ll find luscious chocolate in just about every form possible at the NW Chocolate Festival.
Experience two days of pure chocolate magic and decadence! On Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30, you can taste chocolate from around the world, watch demonstrations in chocolate, listen to lectures, join in the celebration party and become a chocolatier for a weekend at the best festival in the world for people who love chocolate!
Local chocolate companies like Theo Chocolate, and Fran’s Chocolates will be attending the event. Fran Bigelow (from Fran’s Chocolates) and her family will be celebrating 30 years of chocolate on Sunday, September 30 at the festival. Come at 11:00am and have the chance to participate in a special Q & A with the Family behind Fran’s Chocolates: Fran, Andrina and Dylan Bigelow.
Plus, local distillers and some of the best bartenders in Seattle will be pouring drinks, including chocolate martinis!
And, for the first time ever in the US, the award winning documentary “Nothing like Chocolate”, narrated by Susan Sarandon, will debut at The NW Chocolate Festival! Be there to learn how Mott Green, founder of the Grenada Chocolate Company, is revolutionizing cocoa communities.
There will be plenty of cooking demonstrations, chocolate vendors, and exciting smells and tastes for your senses. Come to see, hear, taste and enjoy and learn about the health benefits of chocolate.
